Mithila Siki Dalia

Other Mithila handicrafts include the siki dalia, a flat basket weaved of dired siki grass. This usually has a central, symmetrical red and green star or sun type design and is popularly used as a receptacle to carry fruits and other offerings to a temple deity during puja.
